Traffic is intense at some of the border control posts crossing points (BCP) with Romania - "Kardam", "Durankulak" and "Nikopol" at the exit for trucks.
This was announced by the Main Directorate of the Border Police. to the Ministry of Internal Affairs on its website, BTA reported.

Due to a major repair of the Bulgarian section of the Danube bridge near Ruse, a temporary organization of traffic has been introduced, with the traffic taking place in one lane with a through mode and regulated by a traffic light system. In addition to the Ruse checkpoint, drivers in the region can also go to the Silistra checkpoint, Kardam checkpoint, Durankulak checkpoint, Kaynardzha checkpoint. and "Krushari" border crossing. The last two are open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. every day, trucks are not allowed to pass through them.
On the border with the Republic of Greece, traffic is normal at all border checkpoints. Through the border points "Makaza", "Zlatograd" and “Ivaylovgrad“ only cars and vans are allowed to pass.
Traffic is normal at all border checkpoints with the Republic of Serbia.
On the border with the Republic of North Macedonia, traffic is normal at all border checkpoints. At the border crossing "Gyueshevo" the implementation of the activities under the contract related to the construction of the EU Entry/Exit System began. The cabins for border checks of passing trucks will be dismantled and replaced with new ones.
Temporarily, the traffic of passing trucks will be redirected through the lanes for passing cars. Certain difficulties are possible when crossing the Gueshevo border crossing.
Traffic is normal at all border checkpoints on the border with the Republic of Turkey.
