One person died and 24 were injured in 19 road accidents in the country during the past 24 hours , announced on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, BTA reported.
Two serious accidents and 19 minor road accidents took place in Sofia. Two people were injured.
Since the beginning of the month, 17 people have died and 305 have been injured in road accidents. Since the beginning of the year, 355 people have died in accidents and 7,127 people have been injured.
When compared with the actual data on road users who died (424) during the same period in 2023, 69 fewer are reported in 2024.
