Judge Tsarigradska was subject to pressure and threats related to her work on the case with Martin Bojanov, known as the “Notary”.
According to her statements, she has received threats, including by email, that have referred to violence against her family.
Over the years, she has been the target of pressure and threats from various individuals related to specific cases she handled, which led to her being assigned security.
Martin Bojanov was killed in Sofia on January 31. The prosecutor's office entered a private SS club in the capital's "Geo Milev" district, associated with Bojanov. During the searches, computers and various material media of information were seized.
The prosecutor's office is checking whether magistrates were members of the club, and whether and why they went there. Currently, pre-trial proceedings are being conducted for an organized criminal group, of which Bojanov is a part, created for the purpose of putting pressure on magistrates, property fraud and money laundering.
It has also become known that Martin Bojanov has changed numbers from his social security number, as well as his last name. A temporary parliamentary committee was established in the parliament to verify facts and circumstances related to the activities of the group around Bojanov.
