There are cartels in many places in different businesses. Strictly speaking, cartels, but there are agreements on certain prices in certain regions.
This is what Dimitar Hadjidimitrov - chairman of the Association of Bulgarian Traders, Producers, Importers and Transporters of Fuels - said on BNT.
According to him, it is normal if there are two players in some settlement to have agreements to equalize prices.
"The market is dynamic. I think we will drop below 2.50 by the end of the month. These are normal trends at the moment in relation to the demand in the world markets".
According to him, for this period of the year, it is normal for propane-butane to jump by 10 - 15 cents. At the beginning of the winter season, propane-butane was always more expensive, added Dimitar Hadjidimitrov.
"The price of fuel is not just about where and what kind of wars are being fought. It's not exactly like that. It revolves around supply and demand. When there is no demand - naturally the price falls".
