A threat was made to the life of the director of the “Military Police” Brigadier General Ivaylo Sotirov.

Ivaylo Sotirov was born on September 19, 1967 in Sofia. Since 2017, he has been the deputy director of the "Military Police" service. In 2018, he completed a strategic course at the Military Academy in Sofia.
Received the rank of colonel on February 24, 2015. From January 28, 2021, by order ОХ-70 of January 27, 2021 of the Minister of Defense, he performs the functions of director of the “Military Police” service. By decree No. 191 of July 30, 2021, he was appointed director of the “Military Police” and awarded the title of "Brigadier General".
