The Minister of the Interior Atanas Ilkov voted in Pazardjishko. He told NOVA that since the beginning of election day, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has received 31 reports of vote buying from all over the country. All of them have been verified, and the reports and initiated pre-trial proceedings are significantly more compared to the vote in June.
Ilkov also assured that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has checked all the lists of potential vote buyers submitted to the department. Conversations were held with them and warning protocols were handed to them. The Interior Minister stated that after the completion of the actions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the materials will be reported to the prosecutor's office.
„I assume that by the end of the day the number of reports and pre-trial proceedings will increase”, Ilkov also said.
