The voter turnout at 4:00 p.m. was 26.4%. This is according to the data from the exit poll of the sociological agency "Trend", commissioned by NOVA.
“Not only is the voter turnout higher than the previous vote, but it is approaching the highest of this election cycle - seven in number“, commented the sociologist from “Trend” Evelina Slavkova.
19 parties, 9 coalitions and 1 independent candidate are fighting for 240 seats in the next parliament. 6,601,262 are those entitled to vote according to the electoral lists prepared by GRAO. There are a total of 4,855 candidates for people's representatives.
There are 12,879 polling stations in Bulgaria, and 719 outside the country, which are located in 57 countries.
