We call on the CEC to re-count the ballots. Based on what we've seen, we have our doubts, to say the least. This is what he said in the show "Face to Face" on bTV Ivaylo Mirchev from "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria".
For us as a coalition, the result of the vote is not particularly happy, because the increase in the number of our voters is not so great against the background of the general activity. We know we still have a lot of work to do. In the campaign we had many talks and meetings and I think there will be a change in the coalition. Talks in the coalition continue and will continue. We have very serious contradictions. Within the framework of "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria" there will be a reform, this will happen in the coming weeks and months. We will be very mature in making individual decisions, Mirchev said.
The situation with the bought vote is very serious. From "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria" first we leaked the nicknames of the vote buyers, leaked the places where they meet the "lieutenants" of Peevski. We have submitted 365 reports to the Ministry of the Interior, the State Department of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor's Office, but we have not received any response. On the ground, we could see what a brutal buying of votes it was. It opposes the bought vote before the election, not after the election, the politician pointed out.
We are waiting for the resignation of the interior minister, it is already too late. In the prosecutor's office, we have no doubt that Peevski and the chief prosecutor are a tandem, but we did not expect that DANS would be inactive when there is a threat to national security, such as vote buying. DANCE didn't lift a finger. They had all gone into hiding, hiding under the table and being silent the whole time. The Minister of the Interior is most to blame because he could have prevented this, emphasized Ivaylo Mirchev.
Most fraud happens before people get to the sections – this is the bought vote. One of the first things we will do after the elections is to set up a committee in the National Assembly to investigate vote buying, he added.
In his words, the amount for buying votes in elections is BGN 150 million. Imagine BGN 10 billion only in health care and in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications – Peevski stood at the entrance and the exit, said Mirchev.
We want a sanitary cordon around Peevski – that no party should cooperate with him in forming a majority. We want this not for the formation of a government, but for the National Assembly to begin work. I do not call this an ultimatum, these are the conditions for us to be asked for support for the Speaker of the National Assembly. It is logical to ask for this when there is such buying of votes, noted the politician from "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria".
Regarding Peevski's sharp reaction from today – Peevski pretends to be a victim. Peevski is a serial rapist of Bulgarian democracy. Serial rapists at some point take on the role of victim. He uses his voters not to protect their rights, but as a shield against "Magnitsky". At the moment, Borisov is hiding under the table and is not answering the main question – is GERB dependent on Peevski in its actions? With our actions, we want to show that Borisov must prove his independence from Peevski. If he does not want to prove it, he cannot ask us for support for the Speaker of the National Assembly, said Ivaylo Mirchev.
He also commented on the words of the leader of the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms, Ahmed Dogan, that it is possible to support a GERB government – SDS and "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria".
It is too early to talk about government negotiations. A few months ago, Ahmed Dogan became the "godfather" to Peevski, proposing him as chairman of the DPS. First, Dogan is a "father" to Peevski and then became his "godfather". Let him first come out and tell more about the "Peevski" model, Mirchev also said.
