There must be a full counting of the elections in Bulgaria, not partial, not a new count of separate sections, but full checkout. To finally show the people that there is a country, that there are responsible politicians, that we want to put an end to this substitution and the manipulations that distort people's votes. It was a fake election, manipulated, with forged protocols – they also produced a bogus 51st parliament. From here on, you start with zero trust, which is a big problem – for statehood, for parliamentarism, for institutions in Bulgaria. This was stated by Cornelia Ninova in the show “Delnitsi” of Eurocom.
According to her, however, the impression remains that the parties that have entered the parliament do not want this to happen: “They are convincing people with words - everyone already wants cashiering. De facto, however, with what they offer, they block it. See that each party has opened its checkout subscription. Most of these subscriptions are conditional. They know, and some of these conditions are unenforceable. I have the feeling that they want to lie to the people, that they want cash-out, but at the same time that it doesn't happen,”, commented Ninova. And gave examples:
„ Borisov's statement is the most drastic – I will give signatures from GERB, however, if this is a guarantee for forming a government. Well, well, if you give signatures to cash the elections, there will be no parliament and no government. Or here, the BSP today say: we will sign, but on the condition that again these signatures serve to change the Constitution and return to the old situation. Changing the Constitution was a big mistake. The removal of the president's cabinet powers was done wrong. But: by making it a condition and tying it to a demand for cashing elections, you make things impossible. Because how are you going to collect signatures for a new amendment to the Constitution or for an appeal to the Constitutional Court? This is why I am saying that it seems to me more and more that the parties want to block this process, to lie to the people that they want a cash-out, but they are doing it so that it does not happen”, pointed out Cornelia Ninova.
She confirmed that 8 people - 6 from the PG of “BSP for Bulgaria” and two independents – Kaloyan Metodiev and Mihail Stavrev are ready to sign the cashing request.
Until recently, the leader of the BSP called on President Radev to do two things: “One is to submit to the Constitutional Court a request for cashing the elections on his own grounds, he has the right as president under the Constitution to do so. Since he also casts doubt on the fairness of the vote, it is proper that he also take action, not just stand by and watch. And the second is to postpone the convening of the 51st Parliament until this matter is clarified. Otherwise, a parliament elected with falsification will be launched, said Cornelia Ninova.
„If it were up to me - the 51st would be postponed through the president, the now active 50th would be convened and the Electoral Code would be changed. E.g. – so-called active registration is very important – this will clear the list of dead souls. The video surveillance should become evidence in court”, Ninova added.
In the conversation about the left unification, Cornelia Ninova pointed out: “It started with great hopes, with great stories -”over 30 parties united”. It's moving badly and I don't know how it's going to end. Let's start with the objective things: When in June we appeared separately 4 left parties – we had 200,400 votes. Now there are 30 and they have 186,000 votes. I.e. unification did not mathematically produce a jump in votes”.
And, according to her, there is also discord: “Tatyana Doncheva announces that even before the campaign she and Kostadin Paskalev withdrew, they withdrew their people, she said that the United Left was taken over from within, Borisov pointed out, named people in the BSP who are now MPs, who were bought, taken over, etc. In this tone, the MIR party, Georgi Kadiev“, began to speak.
According to Kornelia Ninova, yesterday's press conference also gave reason to believe that there is a huge disagreement inside: “Maya Manolova wants to support the declaration of PP-DB on sanitary control around Peevski. Yesterday Zafirov said – no, we will not support and there should not be such a cordon sanitaire. Gutsanov spoke about the contract signed yesterday at the Kozloduy NPP. with “Westinghouse”, how harmful it is, how it is national betrayal, but he does not see that Dragomir Stoynev is standing next to him, who brought “Westinghouse” in Bulgaria as minister under Oresharski. There is no leader there, it is not a leadership of the left - these are different interest groups. There is no ideology – has interests", Ninova was categorical. And added:
„Everything I warned about began to happen slowly. You see the change in the course of the party, which hurts me the most, the use of the votes of real socialists, I know them – very sincere people, idealists, about what is currently happening. A completely new direction from the one I led as chairman“.
According to the until recently leader of the socialists, the political crisis is deepening. “It is more worrying, and experts also say that the political crisis will be overcome through the economic one. The economic one will lead to the real awakening of the people. And until a reaction. We are undoubtedly heading for an economic crisis – Europe is entering, Germany is in recession, we are a connected economy. They write to me - large factories in Bulgaria, sub-suppliers, have already started to close – here, in Mezdra, for example”, said Cornelia Ninova, stressing: “At the same time – how the budget will develop for 2025. It is said that the draft budget involves freezing incomes, raising taxes, taking a new loan. What we passed in the previous parliament and it is now law that these incomes should be increased – it will not happen in the draft budget“.
„A severe economic winter is looming,”, pointed out Cornelia Ninova, adding: „And since the current BSP leadership is preparing to support a GERB government, I am interested in what kind of budget it will support. Because this will be a severely anti-social budget, restrictive in terms of both income and the economy.
According to her, people's mistrust in the institutions is the biggest problem and with what happened in these elections, it will deepen. “The second problem – the difference between what parties say before an election and what they do after it. I know this from talking to the people firsthand – they say: “we are disappointed because we have been lied to”. PP-DB were going to slander Borisov – then they hugged him. In my time we firmly had an anti-GERD course, the “GERD“ continues to be the evil for Bulgaria. Right now my heirs are headed for some GERD hug. Despite the decision of the congress, despite the will of the socialists, it is important for 10 people to arrange their lives. I know this because I have been through this mill. What is not offered to me? And it takes a lot of character and a lot of strength to hold on. Well, of course, eventually everyone turns on you, the system eliminates you. But it is important to preserve dignity and morality in politics”, Kornelia Ninova said in the conversation about politics and morality.
And to the questions in the studio he answered: “I will not run for chairman. I am excluded from the BSP, I will not return. We discuss with like-minded people, with people who profess the same values, who have the strength and character to defend them, we consider various other options to continue in politics. From now on? Of the hard lessons I've learned, I'll sum it up in one sentence – with faithful people on a long way“, concluded Cornelia Ninova.
