Mila Moshelova: If we continue to go to elections, one day GERB and Vazrazhdane may form a government - 1

Will there be a leadership meeting between GERB-SDS and PP-DB?

"Five times the Speaker of the Parliament could not be elected. Many arguments and conditions were put forward from all sides. I do not expect Boyko Borisov to back down from the requirement that he has no ambitions for the main place in the state. If the conversation is public, this is a very good step. It will show what is possible and what is not. GERB sets the narrative that they define the rules", commented political scientist Mila Moshelova in "Bulgaria morning".

According to her, there are conflicting messages from the PP-DB within the framework of the parliamentary debates, and the requirements do not change election after election - they affect the SAC, SJC and the anti-corruption commission.
"A division is observed between Euro-Atlanticism and anti-corruption. There should be no discounts along these lines. GERB and PP-DB will need even more support than what they gather together. I don't think gen. Atanas Atanasov can gather broad support in the parliament. Unblocking this parliament does not necessarily mean reforms and development", Moshelova also said.
She does not rule out the possibility that one day GERD and "Revival" to form a government if we continue to go to elections.

"The BSP is in a weak parliamentary and electoral position. BSP is looking for its new identity. "Bulgaria is at a crossroads, should we turn our backs on development and move towards a more hostile environment", noted Moshelova.
Political scientist Yanitsa Petkova, in turn, told Bulgaria ON AIR that we still do not have clarity on how the meeting between GERB and PP-DB will take place.

"One is the presence of cameras and journalists, which will lead to the participants in the meeting behaving in a campaign way. Another is to close the conversation. The most productive option will be something between the two. We have been waiting for this to happen for a month now," she stressed.
According to her, pre-setting obviously doesn't work.

"Again it was approached with a condition, the potential partners are cornered a bit. At least there will be a meeting. It depends on what they are agreeing on - posts or policies. On both sides, there may be a change of the proposed figures", Petkova is of the opinion.
