Nadezhda Yordanova voted first “for“ Silvi Kirilov in the runoff, and in the re-voting of his candidacy - “against”, the printout also shows. Silvi Kirilov was first supported by 118 deputies, 103 were “against“ and 17 abstained. In the re-voting requested by ITN, he received 117 votes “for“, 104 "against" and 17 “abstained”. Before the runoff from "Democratic Bulgaria" announced to journalists that they will once again support Silvi Kirilov's candidacy for Speaker of the Parliament.

238 people's representatives took part in the two votes on Silvi Kirilov's candidacy in the runoff, and in order to have an elected chairman, according to the accepted procedural rules, it is necessary “for“ that more than half of those present voted. Thus, several votes did not reach Kirilov to head the parliament.
