Why did the deputies not elect a chairman of the National Assembly 8 times. The former regional governor of Plovdiv, Dani Kanazireva, and the former MP from PP-DB Iskren Mitev commented on the topic before NOVA.
„The actions of the second political power in the parliament are the most incomprehensible, chaotic and with different messages”, Kanazireva said.
„They went so deep into this PR action in connection with the cordon that they completely moved away from what is important for Bulgaria. There is no one who is optimistic about what is happening in the National Assembly. "Not only is it not alarming and sad, but it is serious and ugly," she explained.
„I think that Borisov, by withdrawing the GERB candidate for chairman, actually supported Assoc. Kiselova – one candidate whom everyone admits is an equally distant expert, Kanazireva also said.
„The problem is the impossibility of any of the political forces to form lasting majorities. Let's not throw blame, it doesn't work for anyone. The big problem is outside the National Assembly and it is related to the citizens' refusal to participate in order to create the possibility of having majorities, Mitev believes.
The eighth attempt to elect a chairman: The first meeting of the National Assembly lasts 19 days
He is surprised that there are formations that are very much against the declaration that PP-DB proposed.
„The sanitary cordon is not some kind of innovation. It is also in the European Parliament and it is not an extreme idea that is being encountered for the first time”, he added.
According to him, it is not true that nothing happened in the National Assembly. “I never believed that the parties would be put in such a need to sit down and talk at the same table”, Mitev also said.
