„It is normal for the price of natural gas to rise gas in the heating season. World markets and world trends are going up.“
This is what Energy Minister Vladimir Malinov told bTV.
A significant increase in the price of natural gas from today was approved by the energy regulator. With the decision of the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation from December 1, the price per megawatt hour of blue fuel without access, transmission, excise and VAT prices becomes BGN 75.89.
This is nearly 10.4% more compared to the price in November, which was BGN 68.75.
„The good news is that the price will be BGN 11. cheaper than all average European prices for the month of December. Bulgaria is provided with natural gas, namely our storage at the beginning of November was filled to 100%, to date at 92%, which means that we have 500 million cubic meters. Bulgarian households and Bulgarian businesses should be calm – the quantities that were provided, liquefied natural gas, are sufficient. Bulgarian consumers of natural gas should be completely calm.“, explained Malinov.
