She pointed out that the Ministry of Finance is working with the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and the National Insurance Institute on the subject.
The necessary financial resource is currently being assessed, as it is not provided for in the 2024 budget, and it must be provided through cost restructuring. In a few days, we will be ready so that Christmas allowances can be provided to pensioners in time before the holidays, Minister Petkova explained.
She added that a condition is foreseen that the people who will receive the supplement have no other income, so that the funds can reach those who need it the most.
