There was a strong political debate from the rostrum of the Parliament - who what signal with his candidate who he would and would not like to interact with and why.
This is what Antoineta Tsoneva from PP-DB told BNT.
She defined as a breath of fresh air for parliamentarism the election of the Speaker of the National Assembly and, accordingly, the unblocking of his work.
"These were about 150 times in which the deputies voted, revoted - this led to the fact that there were debates from the rostrum of the parliament," Tsoneva pointed out.
"The return of the conversation with whom I can enter into a coalition, in tactical interactions, but with whom I cannot start a strategic battle - happened in the parliament, she pointed out.
Whether this turns into a governing majority, she said, depends on both the debate before the election of the president and the subsequent steps.
"We have Peevski and his construction. They are the only ones who want to go to elections. Everyone else who isolated Peevski, in one form or another. No one is negotiating with this formation, the support of this formation has not been requested by anyone," Tsoneva pointed out.
"For us from the PP-DB, this field of interaction that opens up between Kostadinov and the construction around Peevski, this field opens up the possibility of searching for a governing majority, which for us can only have the characteristics of a pro-European and anti-corruption majority . "We will not cooperate with such a majority of non-systemic parties that are aimed at destroying the parliamentary republic," Tsoneva said.
Regarding the PP-DB declaration, she commented:
"This is a page and a half of text. Its main meaning stems from the fact that there is no fair election process. We didn't know that there would be 5 constitutional appeals, and that by raising this topic we caused a mini-referendum. There is no political force that has not defined itself by this text.
In connection with the consultations with the president on the formation of a government, Tsoneva indicated that the coalition will go with a position that must be prepared by the parliamentary group.
"Bulgaria must have a government and we say this all the time. We have indicated the field with which political forces - this can also be done at the talks. We have always said that if we are invited we will always go to talks. First of all, the measures provided for in this declaration, how they will be implemented in order to limit Mr. Peevski's influence on political life", she commented.
