"The framework of Budget 2025 is known. It shows that we are aiming for the Eurozone". This was stated by acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev before a regular meeting of the Council of Ministers, quoted by Nova TV. "Today's meeting, although regular, is special. We're about to look at the most important laws of the year – The State Budget Law, the State Public Insurance Law and the NHIF Law. Among other things, no other cabinet has done this. We take responsibility," the prime minister said.
Assoc. Kiselova assured me that they will make every effort to have the draft laws adopted as soon as possible," added Glavchev. "Many developments are possible - we hope for a regular government," added the prime minister.
"If we go beyond the 3 percent framework, we will take appropriate actions. I hope it doesn't come to that," he added.
"What we expect is that on December 12, our full Schengen membership will be confirmed. There will be no border with Greece, and there will be border control with Romania. In addition to these historic events that await our office, we are about to accept supplements of BGN 100 for over 330 thousand Bulgarian pensioners", concluded Glavchev.
