The budget has a 9% deficit, the BNB has hidden information. This was stated by the deputy chairman of the PG of the Bulgarian National Television Stanislav Balabanov on BNT.
We have had an extremely clear policy regarding finances - you cannot spend more than you receive. When there are no regular governments and when Asen Vassilev was making budgets, they were populist - we have such results, he also said.
According to him, they will respond to talks if they are invited. "We will sit with our experts at these negotiations and we will not talk about how Boyko Borisov will be prime minister or Asen Vassilev - finance minister. Every political formation has its experts and if it has a clearly formed program, fixed with deadlines, then we can support it", Balabanov further explained.
I cannot understand whether Boyko Borisov is really making any efforts to form a government. We have not been invited to talks by the ITN. We are not mandate holders, Balabanov said.
Asked how they will negotiate with the PP-DB, he said that they were the first to sign their declaration with the clear awareness that there are supra-party matters - such as electing the Supreme Judicial Council, terminating the mandate of Borislav Sarafov, adopting a budget. "There are things that affect Bulgarian society and I keep my personal ones in the closet", he said.
"We have fallen into a severe public amok. We need to see if we have statesmen or if we are going to elections again," emphasized the deputy chairman of the ITN.
He predicted that if the president's powers for the service cabinets from the Constitutional Court are restored, then a person's desire to go to elections will abruptly change and he will want to participate at all costs in forming a cabinet.
