Vasil Bozhkov has filed a request to be released from December 20 to January 20 in France, where he can have his eye operated on.
This happened at the Sofia City Court at the next hearing in the case against him.
He suffered a retinal detachment in October. He was also in hospital, but according to him, his condition was not improving and he needed treatment in France.
The court denied him on the grounds that the epicrisis showed that he had been discharged because his condition was improving, and his overall health was good.
