There are chances of forming a regular government because of the principle of cyclicality – if one parliament does not produce a government, the next one should produce one. So to speak, it is time to have a government, not because of any real arguments. This was said in the program "Face to Face" on bTV by political scientist Assoc. For me, the elections that took place were largely rigged. These elections brought in a large number of deputies who have fake results. Fake elections produce a fake parliament. The fake parliament will also give birth to a fake government, said political scientist Kaloyan Metodiev.
The negotiations are being conducted absolutely behind the scenes, with absolute deception of the public. It is said that things were agreed upon even before the elections. We are witnessing the resuscitation of Boyko Borisov, with 2-3 crutches - the non-existent coalition "Continuing the Change - Democratic Bulgaria", the non-existent coalition "BSP - United Left", and "There is such a people" as the third-fourth crutch of the political Frankenstein that needs to be put together, Metodiev emphasized.
The current situation does not suggest that no one can impose their vision in the negotiations for future governance. This logic leads to the conclusion that if GERB wants to have a government, it will accept the demands of the smaller partners. They do not set unfulfillable conditions because they want to enter such a government, but for the sake of their voters they are playing the situation in such a way that the decision is made after long negotiations, added Assoc. Prof. Stoycho Stoychev.
If such a government is formed, it will not be stable. Maybe it is better to go through such a government. As you can see, the budget was created for a government that will "thunder". In parliament, there will be bidding for the budget like at a gypsy wedding. Then comes the question of who the partners in such a government will be, then comes the question of the opposition. The big X in the whole equation, regardless of whether there will be a government or we will go to elections, is the people. We also have a catalyst - the economic crisis. We have all the conditions for a perfect storm. Let them form such a government, headed by Borisov - we are waiting for them all who are against the "Borisov" model. He must drink the bitter cup to the bottom, Kaloyan Metodiev pointed out.
Assoc. Prof. Stoychev also commented on the sharp remarks exchanged in absentia between the leader of "DPS - New Beginning" and President Rumen Radev.
This is a good game that Peevski is playing. Radev is attaching himself to Peevski and legitimizing him as one of the leading players in our politics, the political analyst noted.
