The body of a 51-year-old man was found while extinguishing a fire in a house in the town of Bregovo, the press center of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Vidin announced. The man lives alone.
On January 13 at 6:00 a.m., a fire alarm was received in a one-story house in Bregovo, BTA reports. A fire crew extinguished the flames, and in one of the rooms the firefighters found the burned body.
It has been transported for an autopsy to the multi-profile hospital for active treatment in Vidin. An operational group has inspected the scene. The cause of the fire is being established. The work on the case is ongoing, pre-trial proceedings have been initiated according to the inventory of the Regional Directorate - Vidin.
This is the first case of a victim in a fire this year in the district. Three were the victims of two fires last year, Commissioner Stiliyan Peshev – Director of the Regional Directorate “Fire Safety and Population Protection“ in Vidin told BTA.
