The better option for a government was the original one: a coalition government of 4 formations that would send their representatives to the executive branch. This opinion was expressed in an interview with "Face to Face" by the sociologist from "Trend" Dimitar Ganev.
"Any regular government is better than a caretaker government," he is of the opinion.
The reasons for this: the regular cabinet enjoys a majority in parliament and has a set horizon of action.
Sociological surveys have shown that people wanted a regular government. However, they did not like any of the potential options offered by this National Assembly.
According to him, the immediate issues facing the government are three: Budget 2025, the eurozone and the war in Ukraine.
Ganev explains his support for DPS-Dogan by saying that they are in a disadvantageous position, since in new elections they would lose votes.
"I cannot predict how long the "Zhelyazkov" cabinet will last. Unstable majorities may prove to be stable based on the interests of the four formations participating in the coalition," the sociologist suggested.
