First split in power: Should the aid to Ukraine be military? - 1

The Minister of Defense and the BSP disagreed on whether or not there should be military aid to Ukraine. The Socialists even talked about a risk to the majority, bTV reported.

"Bulgaria's aid to Ukraine remains. Moreover - in the same form", announced the Minister of Defense Atanas Zapryanov.

This caused a sharp reaction from the BSP. According to them, the military aid should be stopped.

„I think we are at a stage where at the very least these commitments should be frozen. This agreement says „aid to Ukraine“, but nowhere does it say „military aid“. This majority should not be put at risk with the first actions of the government“, said BSP Deputy Chairman Kristian Vigenin.

On the occasion of the return of former Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Interior Ivaylo Ivanov to Daniel Mitov's office, the Reds announced that everyone is responsible for their actions.

“I would like to make one clarification. We do not accept this as a coalition, this is a majority. This is an agreement to implement management actions. We are more like partners in need“, added Vigenin.

BSP expects a detailed legislative and management program within a month.
