A pile-up accident involving three cars caused traffic difficulties on Monday evening. Gergana and Solomon Passy's car was hit at an intersection. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the incident. Only material damage was caused to the cars, BGNES reports.

The accident occurred in the area of Bulgaria Blvd. and Fritjof Nansen St. in the capital. One of the cars belonged to Gergana and Solomon Passy. Both were in the car.

The accident was caused by a car that ran a red light, Gergana Passi herself announced on the social network.

"There were no serious injuries, only bruises and fear. The breathalyzer test of the drivers of all three vehicles, including mine, is 0.00 per mille", Gergana Passi specified.

On Monday, Gergana and Solomon Passi participated in the Fifth Sofia Economic Forum. Gergana Passi is a Bulgarian politician, Minister for European Affairs in the government of Sergey Stanishev. Solomon Passi is a Bulgarian politician and mathematician. From July 2001 to August 2005, he was Minister of Foreign Affairs in the government of Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. In 1991 – 2001 is the founder and chairman of the Atlantic Club in Bulgaria, the first pro-Atlantic non-governmental organization founded in a non-NATO country.
