The majority in parliament preserved the immunities of deputies Jeyhan Ibryamov and Mario Rangelov.
"There is a deal, it is obvious. Part of the deal is the immunity of these members of parliament. The question is to what extent the MRF itself is not involved in this whole deal", commented the honorary chairman of VMRO Krasimir Karakachanov in "Denyat ON AIR".
In his words, when governments and majorities are formed, there have always been deals.
"It is not the first time that the immunity of one or another member of parliament has been part of the bargaining for forming a given majority. It has been like this since the 1990s. Dogan's people have demanded that the regional governor of Blagoevgrad region be theirs. They view the state as a field in which to compete with the other MRF. They do not seek to propose people, managers, who will do the work of the people. Dogan is isolated, and Peevski has a more serious presence in this government than Dogan will get, "says Karakachanov.
The leader of VMRO described Peevski as stronger than "the two DPS, and Dogan wants to come into power".
The parties are fighting for positions and money
"This is politics in Bulgaria. The coalition is four-way, maybe five-way. "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria" (PP-DB) should keep quiet. They are ready to govern with anyone. They brought Bulgaria to these debts. Money was poured in to buy votes. Why are we clinging to this Eurozone, are we going to get richer? I haven't heard "There are such people" against the introduction of the euro. The Bulgarian economy is not ready. There is no need to rush to adopt the euro," he told Bulgaria ON AIR.
Will they pay the increase in the salaries of the military?
According to the former military minister, it is difficult for the increase in the salaries of the military to come into force, since the money has not been voted on in parliament.
"There was a vote from April last year, with the stipulation that it would come into force on January 1 this year. Perhaps Minister Zapryanov means that after the vote on the new budget, which will probably be in March-April, they will be paid retroactively," Karakachanov explained, adding that there must be money in the "Security" sector.
"You cannot keep the military with these inadequate salaries. The second step is the selection of personnel. Over the past three years, the selection of the leadership in the army has been subjective, very much on a nepotistic basis. "We will not build a modern army with 30-year-old armored vehicles," the former defense minister is categorical, explaining why the infrastructure is delayed.
