What the PP-DB did with the budget after GERB is worse because people became poorer. This was stated by Toshko Yordanov, a member of parliament from INT, in the BNR studio regarding the country's budget deficit of 18 billion. lv.
At the next meeting of the Joint Management Council, the Ministry of Finance (MF) will present measures that will be taken regarding the financial situation of the state, Yordanov explained.
He did not want to specify what specific measures the INT is proposing regarding the budget deficit, because it would not be correct, and everything will become clear after February 18, when the MF is expected to propose a new Budget 2025.
Regarding the topic of the eurozone, the MP explained that every party has goals, and the INT believes that there is no point in requesting a convergence report, because Bulgaria does not meet all the criteria for the eurozone. When it meets them, then this report should be requested, Yordanov explained.
He refuted the claims of the PP-DB that the INT and the BSP were against entering the eurozone. Toshko Yordanov reiterated that they want the criteria for the eurozone to be met first and advised to listen better to what both parties are saying.
ITN promised its voters during the election campaign that it would form a regular government and the party did just that. This question makes no sense, and Yordanov answered the question of how it was that ITN agreed to govern with GERB.
The topic of the immunities of Jeyhan Ibryamov and Mario Rangelov from DPS-DPS was also touched upon, with the ITN MP arguing the party's decision to vote against lifting the immunities with the question of whether anyone trusts the prosecutor's office.
