We need to seek common ground between the social partners in the National Council for Tripartite Cooperation in a dialogue in order to make decisions in the interest of the state. This was stated by the Minister of Labor and Social Policy Borislav Gutsanov at a meeting with representatives of the Association of Bulgarian Employers' Organizations (AOBR). Deputy Minister Lazar Lazarov also participated in it.
The meeting is part of the series of conversations that Minister Gutsanov began after taking office to get acquainted in detail with the situation in the sector.
„I want to emphasize labor in the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. We must help labor and the economy to have decent incomes“, the minister also said.
During the meeting, the AOBR presented their priorities for 2025. The two sides agreed to work to facilitate the labor migration process in order to improve business access to personnel. “Labor migration is a short-term solution. In the long term, communication between business, state institutions and secondary and higher education institutions must be improved so that Bulgarian workers and employees are more adapted to the requirements of business“, Gutsanov also pointed out.
The AOBR presented their views on income policy, as well as on changes to the Labor Code.
