He also saw sabotage in finding a solution for drivers for night city transport.
„The media reports that “the municipal councilors have stopped night transport. It is not so. GERB and BSP stopped it, and with specific votes“, said Bonev.
He emphasized that night transport is intended for people who work late – bakers, waiters, cinema and theatre workers and rejected the arguments about a shortage of drivers.
„The truth is that night transport is served by 8 buses and 8 drivers. And there are not enough 300! Let the people judge for themselves whether these 8 will collapse the system“, he said.
At the initiative of „Save Sofia“, a campaign was held to recruit drivers, with over 600 people applying, but Sofia Autotransport has not provided information about what is happening with them.
He also accused Mayor Vasil Terziev of not respecting the coalition agreement with the PP, DB and „Save Sofia“.
