An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.4 on the Richter scale was registered this morning in the area of the city of Batak, Pazardzhik region. This was reported by focus-news.net.
According to data from the National Seismological Center at the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography - BAS, the earthquake was registered this morning on March 10 at 04:59 Bulgarian time with an epicenter 10 km from the city of Perushtitsa, 50 km from the city of Plovdiv and 110 km from the city of Sofia.
So far, there is evidence that the earthquake was weakly felt in the area of the city of Velingrad.
