The Danube Bridge near Ruse will be closed to traffic on March 27 (Thursday). The reason is the major repair of the facility, the beginning of which was set on July 10 last year. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminds about this on the department's website.
According to information from the "Road Infrastructure" agency, the passage of passenger cars will be limited in the hours from 9:00 to 21:00, and of heavy goods vehicles - up to 24 hours - from 9:00 on March 27 to 9:00. on March 28.
During the traffic stop on the Danube Bridge, drivers of heavy goods vehicles will be able to use parking lots and recreation areas in the districts of Ruse, Veliko Tarnovo, Yambol and Haskovo. There are also alternative routes from Bulgaria to Romania and vice versa.
