The cooperation of "Rheinmetall" with the Bulgarian arms industry will eventually focus on the production of gunpowder. This was stated specifically for BNT and the "Panorama" program by "Rheinmetall" CEO Armin Paperger, who is in Bulgaria at the invitation of President Rumen Radev. The German concern is currently building 10 factories simultaneously.
I believe that Bulgaria should be part of the European defense industry. I am convinced that the industry here - leading industries and large industrial conglomerates - should grow. Therefore, I believe that Bulgarian companies should and can be included. Of course, this is a government decision. But I believe there is openness and desire for this.
Now we are also looking for partners in Bulgaria who want to grow. Our goal is to reach a turnover of 1 billion euros per year - this way we create thousands of jobs in the country, people pay taxes, and the company will also generate profit and pay taxes. This is a win-win situation for everyone," explained the CEO of "Rheinmetall" Armin Paperger.
