A large-scale fire broke out at night in an apartment building on "Greben Planina" Street in the "Lozenets" district of Sofia, causing significant material damage. According to information shared by eyewitnesses on Facebook, the fire caused serious damage to the building.
Initial data indicate that the fire originated in an apartment on the first floor, after which the flames quickly spread to the upper floors of the building. The cars parked directly under the terrace of the burning apartment were particularly badly damaged.
The fire has already been brought under control by firefighters. The causes that led to the fire incident are yet to be established by the competent authorities.
