Our opinion is that the immunities of the deputies should be dropped for absolutely everyone, Dragomir Stoynev from the parliamentary group of "BSP - United Left" told journalists in the parliament. This immunity status should be reviewed, he pointed out. We will support every request of the Prosecutor General, the MP also announced, quoted by dariknews.bg.
According to Stoynev, however, the parliament's time is being wasted on discussions on immunities. The National Assembly will consider today the requests of the acting Prosecutor General to lift the immunities of six deputies - two from the parliamentary group of "Democracy, Rights and Freedoms" - Jeyhan Ibryamov and Mario Rangelov, and four from the parliamentary group of "Vazrazhdane" - Slavcho Krumov, Ivaylo Chorbov, Yordan Todorov, Nikola Dimitrov.
Regarding the request for the resignation of the Speaker of the Parliament, Dragomir Stoynev said: Let's see which will come first - the vote of no confidence or the resignation of Natalia Kiselova. We believe that these are pointless requests, he added. Kiselova has established herself as a good representative of the National Assembly, Stoynev believes.
