On May 20, transportation along the republican road and railway infrastructure of participants in a series of exercises, united under the name “Bulgarian Defender - 25“, will begin, the Ministry of Defense announced.
The servicemen and military equipment will move from the areas of permanent deployment in the cities of Sofia, Karlovo, Kazanlak, Sliven, Chirpan, Belene, Asenovgrad and Plovdiv to the “Koren“ training ground.
The transportation of the participants will be most intensive on May 25, 26, 27 and 30 and June 6, 2025.
“Bulgarian Defender – 25“ unites a series of exercises that are linked by a common scenario and concept in the largest exercise of this year, “Defender-25“ (DE25) of the US Army Command in Europe and Africa.
