“The Ministry of Electronic Governance will facilitate the submission of documents and the hiring of foreign workers in our country through the developed Platform for the production and issuance of residence and work permits“. This was said by the Minister of Electronic Governance Valentin Mundrov during the National Discussion “Access to the Labor Market of Workers from Third Countries“, which brought together representatives of business and institutions. “The system will provide an opportunity for a large part of these processes to be faster, more transparent, traceable and secure“, he added.
Minister Mundrov emphasized that after the approval of the amendments to the Law on Foreigners in Bulgaria and the digitalization of the existing application procedures, all documents will go exclusively through the Platform. “The Employment Agency is already using the system for producing and issuing residence and work permits for foreign workers, which shows that it works“, added the Minister of e-Government.
He pointed out that the MEU will unite the efforts of institutions to eliminate paper document flow and provide secure and accessible electronic services. Valentin Mundrov expressed hope that all this will become possible thanks to the legislative changes that the government has undertaken in this direction.
