A conflict is brewing between Krichim and Devin that the state cannot ignore.
This was warned about on "Facebook" by Diana Rusinova from the European Center for Transport Policies.
The landslide on road III-866 between Krichim and Devin is not just a natural accident – it is the result of long-term institutional inaction and neglect of infrastructure problems in the region.
The consequences are already serious: people cannot move freely and safely, and local businesses are facing bankruptcy.
Tourism and local production – the main livelihood for dozens of families – is blocked by mud, stones and bureaucratic incompetence.
And this is not an isolated case.
We also recall the landslide near Teshil, as well as other critical areas that have remained out of the sight of the authorities for years, despite the signals submitted.
The powerlessness of the local government and the lack of real action are already visible – and the tension among the people is growing.
The state is obliged to intervene immediately. Not with another promise, but with concrete actions – technical expertise, reinforcement, alternative routes and compensation for affected businesses.
Otherwise, not just an infrastructural but a societal collapse is imminent.
