Today, SOS will vote on the economic framework for urban transport until the end of the year. This is expected to happen after the Central Government presents its plan for optimizing costs in the sector.
Last Monday, the finance, economy and transport committees of SOS adopted a positive opinion on the increase in salaries in urban transport by 300 leva. According to the decision, transport workers will receive their salary increase starting from April 1.
Mayor Vasil Terziev has already criticized the state aid of 15 million leva, which ended the strike of urban transport drivers. According to Terziev, this is a disservice, since the municipality will have to seek another 300 million leva for the next salary increase in 2026.
