The protest on Wednesday against entering the eurozone will be even bigger than the one on Saturday – May 31 this year, promised one of the organizers - Strahil Angelov, a former BSP MP, in an interview with the Bulgarian National Radio.
In the program "Nedelya 150" he called on the people of the country to come to the capital. And with the dissatisfaction he predicted that the government would change course. On Wednesday, June 4 this year The convergence report is officially released, which is expected to show that Bulgaria meets the requirements of the eurozone and will join, and the lev will be replaced by the euro.
"They will change course because even more people will come out on Wednesday morning. They cannot continue to insult people. And the insults and slander come from already illegitimate organizations. I have not heard Borisov and Peevski stigmatizing people. They are smarter and understand what is happening", commented Strahil Angelov.
According to him, Borisov has one way out - to throw in the towel, "because the negatives are piling up on him and his party, Nasko Zafirov has nothing more to bear".
"The protest is not only against the introduction of the euro, but against all the abomination and baseness, against the rotten state. The hypocrisy and insults drove people away. The euro and the way they pushed it at us overflowed the cup. My ambition is not political, I don't want to lead anyone, I don't care about politics, I was an MP and I don't want to deal with that," Strahil Angelov admitted.
And he explained that yesterday the Bulgarians showed that they don't want to be humiliated:
"Out of greed and stupidity, a clique mocks us and has gone too far with its shamelessness. They are becoming more impudent. BSP and ITN deceived their voters and no longer represent anyone. Remnants of the BSP were in the square yesterday. Who do Atanas Zafirov and his clique represent? Who is Toshko Yordanov, to guarantee that with the introduction of the euro everything will be fine? I am not against the introduction of the euro, although I have reservations about the prospect of this currency."
According to the former BSP MP there is only one way out of the current situation – "the resignation of this government, new elections and of course a referendum on whether to enter the eurozone now".
