This campaign for the eurozone was paid for from our pocket, it is not according to a European program. We paid for it, and it was not very effective. It was reported that it happened according to a project, because some people made some events and expressed some theses. But this, in itself, is not a campaign in any case. This was announced to Lili Marinkova in the studio “FACT“ and the program “Conversation“ by political scientist Toncho Krajevski.
“It is a public secret that the life of the government depends, as Borisov said, on the report on the euro. The life of the cabinet will last until the end of the year, for example, and then something else can be invented“, the guest also shared.
“Now we hear how the ruling parties try to take credit for themselves. But let's take the example of Schengen. We met the criteria for a long time, but they wouldn't let us in. Back then, the decision was political, because Brussels wouldn't let us in. And now we meet the criteria within the framework of traditionally permissible accounting manipulations, because we have a fairly adjusted budget. The same happened in Croatia, because it is politically important for Brussels that we enter the eurozone“, Krajevski also shared.
