The President of the Trade Union Congress “Podkrepa” Dimitar Manolov commented on the reactions in our country to the positive convergence reports for the eurozone. According to him, they are only black and white - abundant optimism and complete pessimism. Manolov explained in the program “Denyat na Zievo” that the truth is somewhere in between.
The trade unionist noted that the problem is the intimidation of people by some politicians. According to him, there will certainly be people who will “fish in murky water” (referring to price speculation), but expressed hope that the state would be able to deal with them. Manolov explained that they had received an invitation from the regulators to cooperate in achieving price stability, but there were no specifics yet.
The president of the “Podkrepa” trade union expressed skepticism about a significant increase in incomes after entering the eurozone. His opinion is that they could have been increased before, but there was no will for such actions. Regarding the fact that the banks’ mandatory reserves will decrease, Manolov suggested that they would be offered to people in the form of more favorable loans.
Regarding the laundering of money from various illegal activities, the trade unionist suggested: “There are some other leva that cannot be explained, but they are not that many. However, someone will always drink a cold drink.”
