The rapporteur on the enlargement of the Western Balkans should be replaced after the decision to postpone the report on the Republic of North Macedonia, Vice President Iliana Yotova said, epicenter.bg reported.
When asked by a BNT reporter whether the dialogue between the heads of state of Bulgaria and the RSM should be an example of the relations between the two governments and whether President Silyanovska's behavior is "hypocritical", the vice president replied:
"I cannot give such definitions. They have their own policy, which in my eyes is further distancing them from the European Union - with the messages they send, with the ongoing language of hate, with the theft of Bulgarian history and facts from history. What happened in the European Parliament is scandalous, Roberta Metzola must pay very serious attention to the letter of the Bulgarian MEPs, an investigation must be carried out and if these facts are proven, there must be sanctions. Trust has been violated and the rapporteur must be replaced".
