Israel has killed three medics and a journalist during strikes on Tufa, a suburb of Gaza City, Palestinian media outlets, including the Hamas-affiliated Shehab news agency, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.
The three medics were killed while working to rescue the wounded and remove bodies in the neighborhood, Shehab said.
The Israeli military did not immediately respond to a request for comment, Reuters notes. Earlier, the Israeli military said it was continuing its operations against what it considers to be "terrorist organizations" throughout the Gaza Strip.
An Israeli military spokesman called for the evacuation of three ports in Yemen, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
The military spokesman wrote in Arabic in "Ex" that the warning applies to the western ports of Ras Issa, Hodeidah and Salif, which are controlled by the Iran-backed Houthi militia, DPA reported.
The Houthis are using these ports for terrorist activities, the spokesman said. People should stay away from the ports for their own safety until further notice.
Earlier, Israeli media reported that a rocket fired from Yemen towards Israel fell on its way. There have been no reports of rocket attacks in Israel.
Since the start of the Gaza war in October 2023, The Houthis regularly attack Israel with missiles and drones in solidarity with the Palestinian militant group "Hamas", DPA recalls.
