The individual results of the high school graduates from the state matriculation exams are expected to be announced today, around 10 a.m., the Ministry of Education and Science (MES) told BTA, dariknews.bg reported.
On Wednesday (June 11), an analysis of the summarized results of the 12th grade matriculation exams is expected to be presented by the MES.
On May 21, a total of 48,082 high school graduates took the state matriculation exam in Bulgarian language and literature (BEL). A total of 28 exam papers were canceled in various schools in the country due to attempted copying, the press center of the Ministry of Education and Science announced at the time. At the Bulgarian Language and Literature Matura exam, high school graduates had to choose between an interpretive essay on the topic of "Reason and Feelings" based on the story "The Peach Thief" by Emilian Stanev and an essay on the topic "Life - a Wheel or a Ladder". This was required in the last 41st task of the state matura exam in Bulgarian language and literature.
On May 23, the state matura exams in the profile subject and in the professional qualification were held.
The state matura exams in the profile subject were held simultaneously in 30 subjects, including the different levels of foreign languages. At that time, five exam papers were canceled at the matura exam in the profile subject due to an attempt at copying. One exam paper was canceled at the vocational exam, the Ministry of Education and Science announced at the time.
