I don't see where the Borisov-Peevski duo can be cemented any more. After Borisov said that there will be a stable government when he becomes prime minister and Peevski becomes minister - they are no longer hiding. Peevski is a global phenomenon, because there is hardly a ruling opposition anywhere in the world. This was announced to Lili Marinkova in the “FACT“ studio and the “Conversation“ show by lawyer Velislav Velichkov from “Justice for Everyone“.

“Nothing has been done under the Recovery and Sustainability Plan (RSP) for more than a year and a half, and the resources that we can absorb exceed about 6 billion leva. And this resource is not being mobilized for corruption reasons, because laws must be adopted. I give an example of the one on whistleblowers, which nevertheless passed the first reading in the National Assembly. It will break the silence of the hidden packaging of organized corruption activities. The Law on Personal Bankruptcy is also in order. Here, the issue is not so much in the volume, but in the number of people who would benefit from this law and, accordingly, how some debts will remain unpaid forever. Let us not forget that even in the biggest crisis, banks and the non-banking financial sector remained profitable and made huge profits from fees“, Velichkov also said.

“The good news now is that along with entering the eurozone, we have also signed up for the European banking union, because we will come under the umbrella of the European Central Bank. Then there will be some illumination of what happened in our banks and there will be big problems for certain people who have to explain some non-performing loans, some state aid through the Development Bank, for example. There is simply a lot of money that needs to be protected. Otherwise, there is a lot of money to be taken from the PVU and laws need to be passed, because otherwise we will not receive any money, and the period of the money will expire in about a year and they will be lost“, added the lawyer.
