Kiril Petkov: For another week, the rules for the anti-corruption commission are not included in the parliament's agenda - 1

For another week, the rules for the anti-corruption commission are not included in the parliament's agenda. This was commented to journalists in the National Assembly by the co-chairman of "We Continue the Change" and MP from the PP-DB Kiril Petkov.

The latest reform is on the parliament's agenda - the Personal Bankruptcy Law, but the rules are not included, Petkov commented. According to him, the tandem of Boyko Borisov and Delyan Peevski want to adjust the rules so that Anton Slavchev takes the position.

"They want to renegotiate the rules, and the people from the EC, with whom I spoke last week, said that they will not allow it, they will not allow the European rules of the anti-corruption commission to be flouted, in a way that Boyko and Peevski can directly appoint Anton Slavchev, Petkov said.

According to him, the second payment under the Recovery and Resilience Plan depends entirely on the reform and adoption of the rules of the anti-corruption commission. The third payment depends on the very appointment of the heads of the anti-corruption commission, Petkov added.

The EC clearly told them last week, as far as I know, in informal conversations, that this cannot happen, Petkov added. He announced that the National Council of the PP will meet on July 12 to resolve the issue of a vote of no confidence.
