The deputies gathered for a Friday session. However, at the very beginning of it, the leader of "Vazrazhdane" Kostadin Kostadinov stated that police officers came to the parliament to question him for speaking against the eurozone, reported by novini.bg.
According to him, the signal to the law enforcement agencies came from the DPS-New Beginning. "They had written two things. One is that we speak against the eurozone and have said that we will destroy it. And secondly, that I wrote on my profile "We are going, we are going, damn it", he specified in a statement from the podium.
"We will do everything to destroy the eurozone. Hamid, write it down, because you still have to send a signal to the Ministry of Interior. We will do everything necessary to destroy the eurozone, which is an enemy of Bulgarian economic and financial interests. The second thing I said is that we will not stop speaking against the eurozone", Kostadinov added. And he specified that "We are going, we are going, damn it" is the title of a Bulgarian military march.
The leader of "Vazrazhdane" indicated that tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. in front of the National Assembly building, a new protest against the euro will be held. After the declaration, the Speaker of the Parliament Natalia Kiselova imposed a penalty on him for addressing Hamid Hamid by his first name.
Ms. Kiselova, you have again allowed insults from this rostrum, you have allowed pathetic lies to be told by a coward and a fraud. The signal you are talking about clearly states what this liar said. He said that he would blow up the eurozone from within. He said that Bulgaria would be a bleeding wound in the eurozone. He is talking about explosions and blood. He will not escape Bulgarian justice, Hamid Hamid said in response.
Stanislav Anastasov, in turn, asked Kiselova to use the Inspectorate of the National Assembly and request an investigation into whether Kostadinov is exerting pressure on his entire group, cutting their salaries, keeping them in financial dependence, in modern slavery. So that they fulfill his personal needs, caused by complexes. In turn, Kiselova clarified that the National Assembly does not have an Inspectorate, but a commission.
Then the Speaker of the Parliament announced a 15-minute break. After the break, the Parliament began work on the substance with item one of the agenda - discussion of a draft decision on the adoption of the Annual Work Program of the National Assembly on European Union Affairs (2025).
