This was stated at a briefing by the chairman of "We Continue the Change" Assen Vassilev, who commented on today's KPK action in Varna Municipality.
"We have absolutely no information about what this action is about. Knowing how politically motivated actions are taken, ostentatious actions are being taken for which there is no information and the aim is to cause media noise, and not to conduct a real investigation. We see that only mayors and municipal councilors of the PP are being directly attacked. This shows political motivation. I have no connection with Mr. Kotsev. We believe him. This is an absolute political attack. Have you seen the CCP enter this way anywhere else, despite all the signals? The DB has no mayors, they only have a deputy mayor. I do not rule out that they will push them too. This is how all authoritarian regimes operate. They will not scare us. We will continue to fight against the mafia that steals.
