The vice president of the Confederation of Bulgarian Trade Unions Todor Kapitanov was detained during the protest of the forestry employees on the "Trakia" highway.
He was taken to the police station of the village of Trud.
Earlier, about 200 gendarmes were sent to the highway to prevent a blockade of the highway. The 500 protesters headed towards them, and Kapitanov was in the front position.
