There is an agreement on indexation of salaries by 15% for employees in state forestry and hunting enterprises. This was announced by Minister Georgi Tahov at a briefing.
We have agreed on the following - an increase in funds for personnel expenses as of July 1, 2025 in the following structures: Regional Directorate "Agriculture" - 20%, Executive Agency for Combating Hail - 15%, Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture - 15%. We would like this increase to contribute to reducing wage disparities. Our conditions are that these allocated funds be directed both to reducing disparities and to increasing salaries in these structures, explained Tahov.
In the area of "Forests" "We have agreed to index wages by 15 percent starting from July 1, with priority given to the lowest wages, which are up to 2,000 leva. This is a project that still needs to be defended before the Ministry of Finance and go through the regulatory process with a decision of the Council of Ministers," he added.
These funds must be guaranteed with a decision of the Council of Ministers and we will monitor very carefully how this will happen in the coming days, added the president of the Confederation of Bulgarian Trade Unions (CITUB) Plamen Dimitrov.
