Mass protests in support of the mayor of Varna are expected today. This time demonstrations will be held not only in Bulgaria, but also in the European cities of London, Brussels, Berlin and Munich. There will also be protests in Varna and Sofia. And the calls are – for justice to prevail.

Currently, the mayor of Varna, Blagomir Kotsev, is in custody. He was detained on July 8 after an operation by the Anti-Corruption Commission. He is charged with participation in an organized criminal group related to bribery, official misconduct and money laundering. In addition to him, three other people have been detained.
