Plamen Dimitrov on Kapitanov's arrest: We will not leave things like this. We will seek our rights in court

"Something is wrong in the dairy products market, I continue to claim. In ten quarters we have had some of the highest prices for cow's cheese, fresh milk and yogurt, and neither production costs are that high, nor have workers' incomes increased. Plamen Dimitrov on Kapitanov's arrest: We will not leave things like this. We will seek our rights in court - 1

We have notified the prosecutor's office, we will seek our rights in court. Kapitanov has filed a lawsuit. We have written a letter to Ursula von der Leyen, to the European Commissioner for Internal Order and Security. We will not leave things like this. This is what Plamen Dimitrov, president of the CITUB, commented to BNT about the detention of Todor Kapitanov, deputy chairman of the union, quoted by novini.bg.
He stressed how important the reciprocal horizontal income policy is – when a wage increase of the same percentage is set.

„Equal treatment of employees in the administration - there must be a general increase in personnel costs”, Dimitrov is categorical.

He also commented on the rise in prices in our country: „Excluding the property market, where it is difficult to have regulations, I believe that there are many other markets with non-market behavior. The CPC has started active work, let's see if there will be specific sanctions. 10% of turnover is a serious measure. Something is wrong in the dairy market, I continue to argue. In ten quarters we have had some of the highest prices for cow's cheese, fresh milk and yogurt, and neither production costs are that high, nor have the incomes of employees increased. Prices are higher than in Germany.”

„We have serious declines in investments related to the German economy. Overall, we still have economic growth, which is good compared to the EU - we are in third-fourth place in terms of GDP growth. However, there are sectors with mass layoffs. Measures are needed, including the price of electricity for enterprises, as well as targeted measures to support the labor market”, is the opinion of the president of the Confederation of Bulgarian Trade Unions.
